Which is more exciting to watch, College or pro basketball?

College

They still play team ball and with desire to win.

Pro game is nothing more than a show case of individual talents

Which is more exciting to watch, College or pro basketball?nba live 2008

college

Which is more exciting to watch, College or pro basketball?nba live 2005 ,nba teams

College because they go out and play their hearts out for the name on their jersey not for the money. The players incollegeplay ball because they want to have fun and have a love for the game but NBA players have no love for the game the only reason they play is for the money. Some players in the NBA play for fun but 99.9% play for money.
I watch them both but I watch more NBA games.
college
i think pro basketball
pro its just on a whole different level of skill
Both, either during March Madness, or the playoffs.
pro...more skill, better athletes. There's a reason they get paid
college=duke ohio state unc
College basketball and only the nba playoffs.
DEFINITELY COLLEGE IT IS AWESOME TO WATCH. ESPECIALLY THE FIGHTING ILLINI WITH DEE BROWN! I ALWAYS GO TO THE FIGHTING ILLINI GAMES IT IS AWESOME!
College basketball is more exciting because in the tournaments its 1 loss and you're out
definitelycollegei mean you have so many great rivalry games like unc and duke, and in march you have the tournament were not like the nba were the #1 team always wins it's the underdogs, also yourcollegeteam you feel like that's your team they represent youcollegeis superior.

Anyone Else Think Pro Basketball Is Not that Competitive?

I don't think the players really care about playing or winning anymore. I watchcollegegames, then I watch NBA games, and it seems like the pro players are just cruising and have no interest in competing, no interest in keeping up their image and no interest in playing hard. Is the NBA seriously clueless about how todays players are just abusing the current system which guarantees contracts? Coach Byron Scott of the Hornets even said many players fake or exaggerate injuries to take time off.

Anyone Else Think Pro Basketball Is Not that Competitive?nba betting

I truly agree wit u! Now and days most bball players only play to get paid and to be famous. And if all they have to do is show up, then thats all they're going to do.

Anyone Else Think Pro Basketball Is Not that Competitive?nba fantasy ,nba teams

I don't think that money is all players play for now.

There is plenty of competition; these players are here because this is what they want to do. To win.
i agree like manu ginoblii said last year after winning the championship he said people like me that come from other countries live all their lives to play here and the americans get here and lose their desire to play after they have been paid. i think that is sad and feel bad about the NBA because i have enjoyed the sport for many years. but it is true you have players like nash, parker, ginoblii, novitize or how ever you spell it from dallas, yao ming they play thier hearts out every game and leave everything on the court where as americans tend to take theirs to the other court if you know what i mean so if their are some young players out there who are reading this keep the spirit to play the game and your career will last longer cause once you lose the heart to play so goes your ability.
They make millions and dont have to play defense or anything. Just there to make money and and look flashy. Sucks at times, but still exciting some also. College has a lot better atmosphere and harder working players.
I agree, there seem to be fewer and fewer athletesthat tuly give 100%.Sports has allways partly been about money(everyone has to make a living)but it seems to be shifting more and more towards just money."For the love of the game",is becoming an outdated quote.I dont think it's just in the NBA though,it's all sports that are being affected.I think another thing is expansion. It has cut down on the quality of players we see on a daily basis. As an example, there are pitchers making millions per year in baseball, that 25 years ago couldnt have earned a spot on a MLB roster.Reduced competition for roster spots, means less dedication is requred from an athlete for a roster spot.
Really, there just doesn't appear to be any effort in the NBA, unlikecollegeball. What's their motivation to play hard?

Half the teams in the league make the playoffs, so that's incentive right there to just coast as long as your on an above average team. 25% of the teams are usually out of contention by the all-star break, so they don't care. That leaves 7 or 8 "joe-average" teams to battle it out to make the playoffs over the second half of the season.
I think that the competitivness of players is just about gone. If it is there it is not to win a championship, but rather to the individual glory of being "The best player" "The best dunker" "The best 3 point shooter" etc. It is rediculous. That is why there can never be a comperison to Kobe Bryant and His Airness MJ. There have been so many additions or alternations to the NBA rules and the extremities of what is considered a foul. So for MJ to go to the rim for a drive took alot more effort. If the players would beat up on Kobe like that there would be whistle blown like crazy. And I think there are many reasons for the compettivness loss, wether its the players making more money, to the calls getting to tickey tackey. But the game is suffering the image of BBALL is suffering and the fans are suffering. I have many personal ideas on how to change it if you want to know email me. kb08fan@yahoo.com

Which is more entertaining, college(March Madness)or pro basketball(playoffs)?

March Madness.

The passion from opening tipoff to the bitter end in a win or go home game every time you take the floor cannot be beat by the slow methodical shifts in strategy from game to game in a series.

Which is more entertaining, college(March Madness)or pro basketball(playoffs)?nba street v3

March Maddness

Which is more entertaining, college(March Madness)or pro basketball(playoffs)?nba jam ,nba teams

It is only entertaining if the Lakers are in the playoffs, other than that its just a waste of entertainment.
March Madness. Win or Go Home, not three best of 7 series that drag out over at least a month and a half.
march madness and its not even close. who really wants to see a team play against the same team for a maximum of 7 times? in college, anything can happen unlike the nba when you know the spurs are going to win anyway. crazycollegekids and fans, so much genuine emotion and school pride. its awesome and dont forget dick vitale babyyyyy!!!
Hands down, March Madness. Especially when you factor in the Seniors. Could be their last games EVER. You can't beat the excitement.
no contest March Madness with the passion the cinderalla stories, the great rivalries.
March Madness....the most exciting tournament of ANY sport!
ONE AND DONE! VIVA LE MARCH MADDNESS!!!!

Who's the best pro basketball propect in college today?

Not a person with a greatcollegegame but one you think could dominate at the next level, not just compete. Only one comes to mind K.D. the BIG 12 Killer of record books.

Who's the best pro basketball propect incollegetoday?tv on pc

the biggest pro impact out ofcollegeright now is going to be Oden

He's a legit 7 footer with superstar potential who can already change the game defensively

he'll be a force immediatly

why do you think so many teams are tanking for him?

Durant is good but forward tweeners are easier to come by than legit centers in an era that has no legit centers left as Shaq is fading

Who's the best pro basketball propect incollegetoday?golf ,nba teams

Kevin Durant is the top choice. He has the size of a forward, but the skills of a polished guard. He can handle the ball very well, can run up and down the court with ease, great rebounder, can create his own shot and has a really nice shot. At the age of 18, he is way ahead of his development and the maturity he will gain within the next 2 years will easily make him an NBA all-star.

Greg Oden is the next choice. Unbelievable size and a great defensive presence. Offensive game needs some work, but will improve over time. These type of players come up once every 10 years. He will definitely be the next dominant big man in the NBA.
You guys can't say hansbrough and be serious right. Because last i checked theres a guy on Texas named DURANT, and hes AVERAGING MORE PTS AND REBOUNDS THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER in the big 12 AND HES A FRESHMAN. He dribbles like Magic and shoots like Jordan, so ill go with Him
Kevin Durant will be number 2 pick on NBA Draft 2007.

Greg Oden will be number 1 pick. I think no team would be willing to get past (possibly) the best center available since David Robinson entered the draft almost a decade ago.
hand's down kevin durant this kid can score from anywhere and play four postion's on the floor this kid is gonna be the next kevin garnett!!!!
I'm a Carolina fan, so I have to go with my boy, Tyler Hansbrough.

.
Tucker- Wisconsin Greg Oden- Ohio State, Dudley- BC

Glen Davis -LSU Chris Lofton-Tenessee Afflalo-UCLA Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer-UF Al Thorton- FSU Aaron Gray- Pitt just to name a few
You have to go with Greg Oden since a center with that kind of ability comes once every decade it seems.

With that being said, I believe that Kevin Durant is going to be an AMAZING player in which the sky is the limit. Remember, he hasnt even stopped growing yet and he's already a legit 6'9, even possibly 6'10. Even though they lost the other night to Texas A%26amp;M I saw a great NBA Player in Durant...
same as grayson
I would have to say James Mays. Alought of people wouldn't agree with me but i think he can beat anyone in thecollegelevel he probaly won'y go big in the draft this or next year but he will get drafted.
Greg Oden - Ohio State. The 7 footer is ridiculously good and the only reason he didn't go straight into the NBA is because of the new one year grace period between high school and the NBA. Have you seen the kid shoot, with BOTH HANDS.

Joakim Noah - Florida. This kid is a beast. At 6'11" he's tall enough, but is small enough to move across the floor unlike anything I've seen in awhile. He's tough, he's tenacious and even though I can't stand him he's carried his team to #1 in the nation and 9-0 in the SEC.

Kevin Durant - Texas. He averages 25 points a game, is an 81% free throw shooter, and averages around 50% as a shooter. All as a freshman, I'd say that's pretty good.

If I had to pick of those three I'd have to go with Oden on sheer size and his ability to adapt to injury. That takes some maturity and skill to pull that off.
