honestly, the noise making ballons are not much of a distraction when your on court. you'll be amaze on how intense the players are playing. they pay no mind to them. i kind of think its funny cause fans try so hard to distract players,...if they only knew

Sports is the real distraction. Get yourself a public library card and learn about art, music and culture. Improve your mind instead of wasting it watching sports.
Known as thunder sticks, they are somewhat useful to wave at free throw shooters
That's the whole purpose of it, to distract.
The stadium actually passes them out to fans.
I think that the players are too involved with playing the game to realize any distractions. and i dont think that watching sports is a waste of time!
